The 72 one and two-bedroom apartments feature fully equipped kitchens, baths with walk-in showers, spacious living rooms and walk-in closets. Eight of the apartments are designed as accessible for persons with disabilities.

Community Impact

Westminster Place at Parkesburg will be a designated “green” building with a focus on environmentally sound construction materials that have minimal impact on the environment. Sustainable and recycled building components and end-use products such as energy efficient appliances will be used.

This is a brownfield redevelopment project which will convert a vacant lot in the downtown of Parkesburg into a viable, usable property and the new building will help to anchor and spur additional revitalization.

The project will also include an eco-friendly, tree-lined pedestrian path linking West First Avenue with Minch Park, paved entirely with tiles made from recycled tires.
