Nestled along the Susquehanna River just outside the borough of Watsontown, PA, Warrior Run Manor Inc. is designed to meet the special needs of retired individuals 62 years of age and older, as well as handicapped and disabled individuals. This unique apartment complex offers a safe and secure residential living option complemented by opportunities for community involvement.

This supportive living community is available to all people, regardless of race, color, creed, handicap, religion, national origin or sex. All apartments are eligible for rental subsidy under the Housing and Urban Development Section 202/8 guidelines.


FEATURES

Warrior Run Manor, Inc. comprises 72 one-bedroom apartments and three two-bedroom apartments. Seven apartments have been specifically designed for handicapped individuals. Four apartments are designed for wheelchair tenants and three are equipped for non-wheelchair residents. The facility reflects a design that makes daily living easier and more enjoyable for the elderly, disabled or handicapped. Residents are encouraged to use all of the resources available to them, as well as to participate in activities designed to meet their varying needs and interests.

What makes Warrior Run Manor Unique?
- State-of-the-art videophone entrance systems are available in each apartment. This system gives residents the ability to view and speak to visitors before admitting them. Visitors are granted access to the building by pushing a door release button.
- A maintenance supervisor lives on-site, to provide a safe and secure environment.
The Warrior Run Area Fire Department is located next to our facility, which allows for prompt ambulance service.
- The West Milton State Bank is within walking distance giving residents easy access to a local banking option.


RENT AND ELIGIBILITY

Rent at Warrior Run Manor, Inc. is individually determined in accordance with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 202/8 regulations. Rent is approximately 30 percent of an individual’s adjusted income. All units are eligible for rental subsidy under HUD guidelines. Utilities included in the rent are water, garbage and sewer. Warrior Run Manor offers residential living to meet the unique housing needs of elderly, disabled or handicapped persons.

Who should apply?
You may apply if you are:
- A single person 62 years of age or older
- A married couple, one of whom is 62 years of age or older
- A handicapped or disabled individual who is 18 years of age or older

Eligibility requirements will be discussed at the initial application review.
