Nottingham Village Senior Living Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) licensed by The Pennsylvania Department of Insurance, Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Situated on 105 acres of beautiful Central Pennsylvania countryside, Nottingham Village is conveniently located near several communities and three area hospitals in the Susquehanna Valley.
Our first building, the 121-bed nursing and rehabilitation center, has consistently received the highest accolades for excellence in care. A highly motivated team of nurses, care assistants, and ancillary staff provide 24 hour care to our family of residents. By allowing us to care for your loved one, you will be providing the security of a warm and caring home, and you can rest assured that this decision will bring you peace of mind.
The early '80s brought twelve retirement homes for seniors wishing to downsize yet have the security of emergency nursing services available. Over the past two decades our retirement homes have continued to please our seniors interested in “planning for the future.†Over 50 Country Houses, and still building, offer choices from floor plans, prices and rental or entrance fee options.
In 1984 our vision for senior care brought a 36-unit apartment complex offering studio and one bedroom rental apartments for retirement living. In 2002 we expanded the Retirement Center to include an additional 26 one and two bedroom apartments. At the opening of the new wing (The East Wing), we re-licensed the entire building to allow for Personal Care, or some assistance with activities of daily living when necessary. This feature enables residents to “age in place†and remain in their home.
Beautifully decorated Short Term Rehab rooms offer Nottingham Village residents a calm and shore-like environment for healing and recuperation. High-speed wireless Internet access and flat screen TVs help pass the time until your safe return home.
At Nottingham Village we have the staff and the tools to help you achieve your goals. Dedicated Physical, Occupational, Restorative and Speech Therapists, with more than 18 years worth of experience, ensure your quick recovery home.
Heather Court rounds out our campus with a higher level of Personal Care, including dementia care. Forty beds in a gracious environment offer structured activities by a Therapeutic Activity Specialist, customized meal services, Alpha-Watch Technology, supervised off-campus excursions and a caring staff that will always have time for you.

THE RETIREMENT CENTER
The Retirement Center offers studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments to residents living independently or for those in need of some assistance. The option of independent living or living with assistance offers residents the ability to stay in their home as their needs may change. The Retirement Center is beautifully decorated with many attractive common areas for activities and quiet relaxation.
In addition to the 60 apartments, The Retirement Center at Nottingham Village also serves as a social center for our Country House residents. A vaulted ceiling in our Garden Room greets residents and visitors as they enter the East Wing. At the East Wing, you will find activity spaces, a workout center, a computer lab, and a café. The Great Room can be used for parties, health fairs, dinners, and special occasions.

COUNTRY HOUSES
For over three decades we have dedicated ourselves to meeting the changing needs of our residents. More than fifty Country Houses offer more than just the traditional elegance for which Nottingham Village is known. Various floor plans, including two bedrooms, two bedrooms with a sunroom, and three bedroom designs suit the needs of all retirees. There is even a two bedroom traditional plan with a one-car garage that is available to lease. The Retirement Center also offers meals, activities, trips, a workout room, a computer lab, and entertainment to all Country House residents.

THE NURSING CENTER
Since 1977, Nottingham Village has offered complete nursing services in our 121-bed Nursing Center, with participation in Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Administration, Blue Cross, Geisinger Gold as well as numerous other programs. Constantly updated facilities and a highly trained staff, whether it be nursing, social services, dietary, housekeeping, or maintenance all work together to create a safe, secure home for your loved one.
An extensive array of services provided include admissions 24/7, direct admissions, physician coverage, resident and family education, long-term care, dental services, respite and hospice care, and recreational services. Clinical services offered are IV antibiotics, basic IV hydration, chest tubes, colostomy care, complex medical management, tube feedings, wound care, orthopedic recovery, cardiac recovery, isolation precautions, MRSA wound VRE, and trach care. Therapy is available five days a week. We offer pharmacy and lab services, as well as social services, high-speed wireless Internet access, and a beauty salon.

HEATHER COURT
Heather Court, the newest member of our Continuing Care Community, is located adjacent to our Nursing Center.

ACTIVITIES
Nottingham Village hosts many events and offers many activities to our residents. Hawaiian Luaus, Oktoberfest parties, Christmas and Chanukah celebrations, Easter egg hunts, and dozens of picnics are just the beginning. The annual staff talent show is another highlight that consistently garners high praise from residents, their family members, and the community.
The Nursing Center at Nottingham Village also hosts church services from several denominations for those residents that are unable to leave the facility. Daily activities also include, but aren’t limited to, bingo, puzzles, arts and crafts, high speed wireless Internet access, Wii games, and access to putting greens, a salon, a café, and a computer lab. There is much to do at Nottingham Village and we take great pride in providing the most homelike and fun atmosphere possible for all our residents, whatever their level of care may be.

Here at Nottingham Village, our dedicated therapy team is passionate about your dreams. Whether you are planning a short-term visit, or to remain as one of our guests, we have the tools to get you where you want, and need, to go.
We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy daily, provided by our on-site, full-time therapists. This personal availability allows you to get answers to many questions you may have.
