Besides residential retirement living, our campus offers assisted living at Muhlenberg Lodge, skilled nursing and rehabilitation at Luther Acres Manor and comprehensive memory care at Gardenia Court and Agape Way.


RESIDENTIAL LIVING

For residents who would like to take a break from cooking, we have lovely café and wait staffed dining rooms.

There is plenty of on-campus amenities for our residents to take advantage of, including:

Residents may choose from spacious cottages or townhome apartments in one and two-bedroom designs. A variety of options is available.

1. Our Traditional Entrance Fee Plan is a plan, which decreases by 2% per month to a zero balance at 50 months.
2. Our 75% refundable Asset Preservation Entrance Fee Plan maximizes the preservation of your estate.


ASSISTED LIVING

At Muhlenberg Lodge Assisted Living, our assisted living residents enjoy an active lifestyle with an emphasis on independence and dignity – a lifestyle designed to nourish the spirit. Just the right amount of support is offered and is changed whenever necessary. From gentle medication reminders, to assistance with the activities of daily living, to help at meal times, an experienced team of compassionate caregivers who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week provides our assisted living services.

Life at Muhlenberg Lodge defines worry-free living. Everything needed to ensure independence and peace of mind is offered. Our residents have the flexibility to choose how they spend each day and there is always something fun and exciting to enjoy. Most importantly, our activities are geared toward the specific interests of our residents.

Muhlenberg Lodge offers 70 assisted living suites on three floors. Each spacious suite has its own individually controlled heat and air conditioning. Large closets, plush carpeting and window blinds complete the look. Suites also feature tea kitchens, private bathrooms and an inviting design with plenty of room for one’s favorite treasures from home. Beautifully designed lounges are located on each of the Lodge’s three floors. Guests are always welcome.

One daily rate, offering two separate levels of care, includes meals, housekeeping, medication monitoring, activities and much more.


SKILLED NURSING & REHABILITATION

The decision to place a loved one into a skilled nursing care center can be one of the hardest decisions a family may ever have to make. There is emotional stress in deciding what’s best, making the decision to seek long-term care and to find a quality, trustworthy center.

At Luther Acres, we understand such concerns. We are dedicated to helping guide families through the admission process and making the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible. While many of our residents come from our own communities, some come from the outside community as well. Whether it’s short-term rehabilitation or long-term residency that is required, our services include:

- Short-term and postoperative rehabilitation
- Physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies
- 24-hour skilled nursing care
- Alzheimer’s and memory care

Led by a resident’s own doctor, with support from our medical director, our multidisciplinary caregiving team consists of nurses and certified nursing assistants. Family participation in a resident’s care is not only welcomed, it’s encouraged.

Our home-like surroundings are complemented by amenities including personal laundry and housekeeping services, as well as beauty and barber services. Whether it’s bible study, bingo or an art project, our full-time activities director makes sure there is always something enriching and fun for residents to do.


MEMORY CARE

Located within the Muhlenberg Lodge, Gardenia Court provides 26 private suites in a secure environment for those assisted living residents who are facing the early stages of memory impairment. All aspects of the community support each resident’s current capabilities, while providing the safety and security of personal assistance, 24-hour support, and emergency response.

Gardenia Court is designed to meet the changing needs of residents both today and in the future. We promote the participation and involvement of residents and families. We also implement specialized support programs for each resident.

Agape Way… Agape is the Biblical word for unconditional love. Agape Way is a secure area within Luther Acres Manor, our skilled nursing center, for those residents who face the challenges of the later stages of Alzheimer’s disease or other memory impairments. Agape Way offers 18 private residences where residents receive tender and attentive care from caregivers who understand the challenges of memory impairments.
