Dock Woods Community is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community sponsored by the Franconia Mennonite Conference of Mennonite Church USA. Through Dock Manor and Dock Village, we also offer affordable housing for older adults and families who qualify for rental assistance.
Our mission is to enhance the lives of older adults and families, in a way that is rooted in the Mennonite heritage of Christian values.
Since the establishment of our first facility in 1942, Dock Woods Community has grown and diversified to meet the evolving needs of people in our region. Today, Dock Woods offers a wide range of housing and life-enriching services for older adults and families on two expansive campuses in Lansdale and Hatfield.
Designed to provide retirement living for persons aged 62 and older, Dock Acres is comprised of 27 one-story cottages arranged in clusters. The 108 spacious cottage apartments feature individual front porches and attractive landscaping -- all in a peaceful, private setting.
Located adjacent to the Community Center, Dock Gardens offers 89 one and two-bedroom apartments of various sizes. Each apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, wall to wall carpeting, and draperies. All units feature either a bay window, balcony or patio.
Located on Spring Lane, near Tomlinson and Gehman Roads, the 66 villas are arranged as twin cottages with nearly 2,000 square feet of living space. Each villa boasts two porches, an attractively landscaped exterior, and ample mulched beds for residents to create their own garden, if they so choose.
With 100 apartments arranged in a two-story building, Dock Manor offers comfortable, subsidized housing for seniors who qualify for rental assistance through HUD. Residents are free to avail themselves of the many on-site conveniences, including a game room, community room, library and beauty salon.
